Almost

Almost, what is Almost?

Is Almost good enough for us in this earthly game?

If so then God looks upon us

with much hurt and shame.

Almost isn’t good enough

And this we know is true.

If God were to say we Almost made it

then what would we do?

"Almost thou persuadest me"

Is that what we will say,

When we stand before our Lord

on the judgment day?

Almost is not trying,

Not reaching for the goal.

Almost is just falling short,

And losing one’s soul.

So as we play this game of life

Will we Almost win,

Or will we be with our Lord in heaven

In the very end?

Don't be one of those people who almost makes the decision to follow Christ. Decide that today is going to be the day that you follow him. If you are already a Christian don't be one of those people who almost spread His word and His truth. Do it NOW. While you are still on times side of eternity.
